There's a lot of jank in the sewers. Kill it.
Use the Player Management Table, get logged in! [only Email token works on Itch for now.] Now go kill some stuff in the sewer, level up, then go back to the Drop Table and open your Drop. Go to the Firearm Table. Slap your upgrade on your weapon. 
Weapon synergy is simple. There is X, R, and G types. Put the same type next to each other like XX or RR and get +5% to the stats. X and G can touch, R creates 5% negative synergy if touching X or G.
Hold i and click on yourself to inspect yourself. Stand near someone and hold i and click on them to inspect them.
H is handshake mode. Shake hands with someone to group. Literally shake hands. Grouping lets you see what room name they are in, such as "Depth 3". Grouping also turns off PVP between you. As a proper gentleman, you cannot attack in handshake mode.
You can use the Recycler[if you're logged in] to add Permastats to your character by recycling Upgrades from Drops. When you get tired of your permastats and wanna give yourself props[bragging rights]. You can purge all your permastats and make them not so permanent. This number shows next to your name. It may or may not be used for something special in the future.
Drops earned are saved between runs/sessions/refresh.
When you die, you lose your current XP bar and 10 max health. If your max health drops to 0, it's game over and you lose everything except your Permastats and Drops.
Things that do not save: guns and runs.
Sign-in with Discord does not work on the Itch embed currently because the Discord auth cannot come to grips with Itch - email works great and it just uses a token, no password. You and I hate passwords.

This game is 90% ai-generated. It's a proof of concept. The actual game I want to build will be built in Unreal Engine 5, and have many of the same concepts. Please start a conversation in the comments if you're interested in discussing! But if you're mad it's ai-generated, yell at me, send me an angry postcard, it's a proof of concept to try various concepts I plan to build in the real full 3D game. :P
I hate ai so much I tried to make it seem like it wasn't built with ai. Go figure.
